The Intermountain Area encompasses some of the most beautiful peaks, valleys, farm and ranch land in the North State, offering year-round recreation and wholesome community events.  "Breathe in the beauty, it is all good."

Burney is well known for "Burney Falls," located at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park.  The town of Burney sits in a basin below Burney Mountain (7863 ft.), a lava dome complex located in the Cascade Range. Well known for great fishing, hiking, camping, watersports, and winter sports. Something for everyone.

Fall River | McArthur

Fall River Mills is nestled between the Sierra Nevada and the Cascade mountain ranges in the far Northeast corner of Shasta County, California. The town is surrounded by mountains in all four cardinal directions with Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen visible from anywhere in the Fall River Valley.
