Burney Chamber of Commerce

Burney has four distinct seasons, each beautiful in their own way.  In the spring, temperatures average in the 50-70 degree range. Rainy and chilly days are not uncommon, though we have plenty of warm sunshine to bring Burney into bloom. Temperatures warm in the summer to between 80-90 degrees and offer a cooling refreshment from the heat of the valley. The summer months, May- September usually host warm days and cool, clear nights, though we may get the occasional thunderstorm. With October comes breath taking foliage, crisp winds, and brisk sunny days with temperatures tapering off into the 60-50 degree range. First snows usually touch down in November with intermittent snowfall through March. Winter can be quite cold with temperatures falling below freezing and averaging between 30-40 degrees.
