AAUW

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls since 1881.  Our Intermountain Branch supports national efforts with activities such as: sending local 7th grade girls to a week-long Tech Trek summer camp at UC Davis, where they learn about science, technology, engineering and math; support the Intermountain Fair’s scholarship program; provide scholarship(s) each fall to local women who have completed at least 2 years of college.  (See the scholarship application here:  Scholarship Form.  Additionally, we give annual “Women of Achievement” awards to chapter and community members who pursue AAUW principles of community involvement, leadership, and lifelong learning. Besides fundraisers to support these opportunities, each month we enjoy fun activities such as hikes, book club, gourmet dinners, and much more.  If interested in joining us, please contact our 2020-2021 Membership Board
